upon my daily perusal of the web of the daily news, i was disheartened to stumble across the announcement that CIRCUIT CITY had filed for bankruptcy and will be liquidating all the remaining US stores.

today's bright, sunny and warm. probably mid-70s. sunny day. what a friday.

hard-pressed. depressed. trying to find some footing on this shaky ground. today i had--oh--about 5 hours of sleep. insomnia, stress, the heat. i hate it when it gets super windy, then super hot, then it cools down rapidly in the evening. make up your mind! fickle weather. nip/tuck was on earlier... i'm addicted. love that show, as extreme as it gets!

i missed out on a partial-roomie-reunion today :( they were doing boiling crab (crawfish) after work!! :( hard times. another time i hope! definitely need to unwind and laugh openly.

lunch today consisted of: mom's homestyle fried rice with lap xuong and corn & some splenda-sweetend tejava iced tea
dinner tonight consisted of: digiornio supreme pizza & water
