Hey!~ Wow, it's been awhile since an update! I've been SUPER busy.
As some of you may know, I left my job in Beverly Hills to go pursue my education more seriously, and I was offered a better position elsewhere at the same time! It's been challenging being thrown into the mix and picking up things as I go along, but it's been incredibly rewarding in knowing that I'm handling it like a breeze! I'm pro! HAHAHA! j/k. But anyhow, I am indeed getting it. It's A LOT of work and and the biz is need of a ridiculous amount of organization due to their lack of staffing...and that's where I come in!
We had an event today in Santa Monica with an amazing panel of Green Tech (solar paneling, sustainable living, energy efficiency, etc.) speakers today as well as the Mayor of Santa Monica herself making opening remarks :) Wow! My 2nd week on the job and there I am in the middle of all of it! We had some press and photos taken too... so hopefully we'll get that soon and we'll see our team! woohoo! :)
What else? My cousin's wedding is this Saturday, so I'll be skipping Hollywood this whole weekend to spend with family. I just gave Kitsu her bath and after running herself out crazy around the coffee table with excitement she's settled in for a nap. I miss West LA~! I'm starting to look at apartments nearer to Santa Monica to avoid the COMMUTE! ARG!

Current Opening
Dear All:
After nearly 2 years in "the biz" I've decided to step down and pursue my true passion (medicine). I'm very excited!!
I'm currently looking for an individual to fill my space at work as a Personal Assistant in Los Angeles (a few blocks from the Beverly Center). It is HARD work, but very rewarding. Never a dull moment, every day is different. Work with high-end clientele (i.e. celebrities & ceo's) Part time.
Must know how to use computers, install/debug/fix programs, resourceful, self-starter, trustworthy, organized. Multi-tasker a must!
Message me for details, if interested.

Busy
It's a very busy time for me. Even though this last event has come to a close, I am still a work in progress.
Much to do.
Waiting for a brighter day when my goals become reality.

A Success
The event was beautiful, albiet very stressful on my behalf!

They spelled my name wrong, but I'll hopefully have that, and several other persons names corrected in the following week.
I am absolutely exhausted! Thank you for the wonderful staff at Harrison & Shriftman, the artist Mauro Mori and video installation by Rebeca Mendez, the Minotti staff, the caterers from Tuscan Under the Sun, DJ Zeb, and all the staff, contractors and vendors! I'd say we had about 300 or so guests in and out through our doors.
Coordinating guests, contractors, and artists, zipping from one end of the showroom to the other gathering catalog materials and the price tearsheet I created for the event (amongst other things) was truly a tiring, but rewarding experience. I'll add a notch to my belt for that one!

Proud Owner

(Me in front of Best Buy)
As of exactly 10:00AM this morning, I am now officially a proud owner of the new Palm Pre!!
After camping out since 3:30AM and...now running on 27 hours of NO SLEEP... I snagged 1 of 3 Pre's at my local Best Buy. Sorry to the other 15 people behind Brian & I! (Brian got the 2nd of the 3 Pre's).
I'm exhausted, dehydrated, and crazy-alert.
It's currently charging and will be back with updates when I've played with it!
I also got a mention on someone's twitter for posting a photo of Brian in front of the Best buy:

(Rough translation: The Americans camp already before a Branch of sprint and Bestbuy - like the iPhone at that time! http://twitpic.com/6qi5l (RT @terryle))
